Seek and Destroy competed in War of the Worlds at Splatbrothers Paintball Park on November 1-2, while the Aliens (included SAD) dominated on the field, our side did not play the prop and imaginary game as it was laid out by Big T. and therefore was on the loosing side. Prop paintball is not SAD's forte, if we want to win at these kinds of games we will need to read the rules, otherwise we can just have fun capturing ground and dominating our opponents. I thought War of the Worlds was a great 2 days of paintball.

Paintball Participation Report 2008
If you want an accurate profile of today’s sports and fitness participants, then you should order SGMA’s Single Sport participation studies. Each report contains statistical charts, key information on historical participation trends, gender profiles, and a special section called 'Quickfacts.' In addition, these reports will reveal demographic data on the geographic location of today’s athlete, their average age, participation venue, and household income. This is fifth straight year that this research has been made available by SGMA.
The latest info from SGMA in their Sports & Fitness Participation Report is good news for paintball, in a soft paintball economy participation in paintball increased by 929,000 players or 20%. Their website is below.

DUES: 2009 dues will be due on March 1, 2009, there are no increases and students and young guns are exempt. Deployed military can pay when they return from their deployment.
NEW MEMBERS: New members are voted on in June and December, and must be accepted by 75% of the players, must have an EGO (SAD is sponsored by Planet Eclipse), must play rec ball at Fox a minimum of 2 days per month, must play in out of town scenario's ( i.e: Splatbrothers, EMR, Charleston, Bear Claw) at least once a quarter. Must have played in at least 3 scenario's before being considered for voting. Adult members pay yearly dues, students and young guns are exempt.
I am holding new jerseys for Dan-O, and tee shirts for Chuck, Whistler and Dan-O. If you want these mailed to you let me know. Mark has the new jerseys for Pinkshirt and Boozer.For December 2008 we have two prospects, Nick and CAM. Most of you know Nick from Fox he plays almost every Saturday and Sunday, he has also played at scenario's with us. Nick is also on team Fox, who just took 1st place in Division 6 at EPL-3. CAM has also played at Fox and scenario's, is in the military and tries to get out when not deployed.
For June 2009 we have Tyler and Adam, if you recently played rec ball at Fox you will have seen these two players, they are fairly new to Paintball but are coming come out on a regular basis. they are willing to learn, aggressive, and speedy young gun prospects. Tyler and Adam plan at coming to both War of the Worlds at Splatbrothers, and Charleston. They appear to be very dedicated to paintball.
